The Rolls Royce of sailing yachts
King's Legend is a Swan 65, which is considered by experts to be the Rolls Royce of sailing yachts. In 1977, during the legendary and incredibly challenging Whitbread Around The World race, which covers more than 27,000 nautical miles, taking competitors via Cape Horn to the other side of the world. The crew sailed her into 2nd place behind the race winner the Dutch Flyer.
In 1999, Gijs van Liebergen, the owner, sailed the yacht back to Holland and converted the racer into a sailing yacht fitted with modern convenience, whilst maintaining its original design and charm. That is exactly what makes King's Legend so unique: her history, her speed and slender design, and the beautiful teakwood interior.
King's Legend is suitable for corporate sailing events, such as regatta racing and relaxed cruising holidays.
