Jacobite Cruises are based at Inverness and offer trips up Loch Ness to Urquart Castle with a spot of 'Nessie' spotting on the way. JACOBITE QUEEN was built as the Tyne Queen in 1949 by R.W.Hawthorn at Hebburn on Tyne and served as a passenger ferry on the Tyne until 1986.She was then aquired by Jacobite Cruises who rebuilt her as a cruise ship with classic lines.Photo taken on Loch Ness 28/7/2008.
